| 1956 was a special year when the Austin Area Garden Council was chartered and held their first meeting on Jan.31,1956. The first flower show was held in the City Coliseum on April 15, 1958.
There will be 3 Special Exhibits— Bonsai, Cactus and Orchids
Division I, Horticulture, "Headlines in 1956" - There will be 15 Sections of various types of horticulture which will be judged by 6 accredited judges.

A Multi- Rhythmic Design (Novice Arrangers)

AAGC-affiliated Garden Club Members can participate in designs, and or horticulture.
