KEVIN MCKINNEY
Kevin McKinney occupies a special place in Austin's musical history. As a creative force in Soulhat, he helped define the local 90's groove genre and inspired a scene, catapulting his band and the likes of Bob Schneider and Patrice Pike (among others) into the national spotlight.
Today he continues to write, release, and play for himself and others. His signature take on the singer/ songwriter genre is as fresh now as it was then.
